when dealing with angry people, it is best to stay calm and be empathic, using thoughtful, reflective statements. Other tips are to never use rebuttal, derogatory, or negative statements that may further anger the person or situation.

Consider and briefly share a conflict you observed or encountered; what was your approach in handling the situation? Did you feel mad, uneasy, fearful, engaged, sympathetic, etc.? Were you able to diffuse the situation? Do you feel the outcome was satisfactory?
