Directions:
Teaching Environment: The environment will be casual similar to a clinic setting.Students will sit next to their client and teach the assigned topic. Also, there will be an opportunity to teach at least 1 more pregnant woman. Be prepared to teach up to 6 minutes for each teaching session.
Preparation: Prepare a word document addressing all of the content in the rubric (in the order it is identified below). The responses must be in an organized logical order. Include the teaching/learning visual e.g. pamphlet, engaging material. Check Module 1 (Prenatal Clinical Materials) for a powerpoint regarding the “teaching role” and the reflection you will be completing after the teaching session.
