Part 2: Annotated Bibliography
undefined
Prepare an annotated bibliography that is APA 6.0 style and format compliant, listing at least three sources that you have located and evaluated for your project. Preparing an annotated bibliography encourages you to think critically about the content of the works you are using, their place within a field of study, and their relation to your own research and ideas. It proves you have read and understand your sources and establishes your sources as valid references for the course project. An annotated bibliography is a bibliography that includes a summary of the research that you have done. It is an alphabetical list of research sources with the addition of a brief summary or annotation. The annotation usually contains a brief summary of content and a short analysis or evaluation. In order to write a successful annotation, each summary must be concise (100-250 words) (do not copy the abstract) and the annotation should display the source’s central idea(s) and give the reader a general impression of what the source is about. The annotation should also contain a statement regarding the applicability of the source to the researcher’s topic of interest. Submit your Annotated Bibliography by selecting “Add Submission” topic of interest. Submit your Annotated Bibliography by selecting “Add Submission” in the Moodle Literature Review – Annotated Bibliography assignment dialogue.

Part 3: Final Assignment Description
undefined
Write a 12-13 page (approximately 3,250 words – excluding title, abstract, and reference list), APA 6.0 compliant, literature review of the current literature covering your topic (see Topic Selection Details below). A literature review is a discussion of the published information in a particular subject area. It should be a critical evaluation of sources (primarily scholarly articles) on a certain subject that highlights the relationships between the various writings and how they relate to your own knowledge and understanding of the topic. A literature review is not a simple summary of an unrelated group of articles. A good literature review will look at the research that has been done and synthesize or pull together those elements that are similar or most pertinent to the theme you have chosen.
undefined
Like other papers you have written, your literature review should also contain three basic parts: • an introduction, giving the reader a quick idea of your topic, your thesis or problem statement, and the central theme or organizational pattern you will follow.
