DQ1- Reorganization will not always change behavior in a group, it can also give the appearance of the change where there is none taken. You would have to improve the leadership and the management, educate, and train all the future leaders that may come along also revising policies along with procedures. The change of behavior within a police department is going to be through training and recruitment, change should be providing the officers with more information and better alternatives to help them make better choices. The managers need to be making sure they are developing better police officers. The key components of the transformation of strategies, having a better vision of the story to develop the way they are organizing and designing and, there redesigning of the police department. The values along with their mission statements having a better goal of settings and measurement of the strategies. Making sure the plan is working and having more of a transformation within the police department making sure that you are communicating all the information that is needed to everyone that is involved with the reshaping of the police department. How to pursue grant opportunity make sure that your suggestions will be the same goals of your boss and always focus on the impact of the grant, and not the process make sure they are looking to the future know all the numbers you need but it us showing the vision and the priories of listens and the company.

DQ2- Police organizations can effectively increase operations in order to ensure that the communities they serve are adequately protected. Creating initiatives within the department that correlate with community policing strategies is essential to successful operations (More, Vito, and Walsh, 2012). Constantly evaluating the successes and failures of the department increases the level of accountability across the law enforcement system (More, Vito, and Walsh, 2012). Ironing out the wrinkles in department operations allows for more efficient and effective initiatives. Accountability is a key component of strategic transformation, because it gives administrators the opportunity to evaluate different operations from the department (More, Vito, and Walsh, 2012).

Those in supervisory roles within criminal justice systems can lobby for grant opportunities by presenting the projected results of certain grant initiatives. Crime mapping is imperative to showing administrators certain hot spots with individual crime issues that need to be mitigated. Once these individuals in higher positions understand the root issue with the potential solution at hand, they will be more likely to offer grant opportunities (More, Vito, and Walsh, 2012).

DQ3-Benchmarking is the process of evaluating the strength of an organization or a department you work in. It will help to measure the past along with the current performance as a compound to a similar of their own finances. The goals of a benchmark are too specific to their organization with their mission. This will help to promote the literacy of the benchmark; it will show it the organization and its plans are going to succeed. Specific the measurable goals that have a timeline available when their benchmark is achievable and for the method for evaluation. And how their own goals will fit with their own goals fit with their mission statement, accountability for the results in making the decision to continue, and improve the end practices that are based on the data, of implementation through incentives that are going to be tired to their performance along with the communicating of the results with the internal and the external of the stakeholders.
