Positive behavior support
In this project, you will be completing a case study. You will select one case from the three provided and answer the question at the end of each study. You will need to conduct research in the Rasmussen Library and use some of the suggested resources below to aid you in supporting the child and family in your chosen case.
You will then present your case, first to your instructor and then to your classmates.
Requirements
Your final project submission is both a paper and a power point. Your final paper must be 5 – 7 pages long. It should demonstrate a strong case for how you would support this child and family. Remember your role is not to diagnose this child. Instead, your role is to indicate how you, as the child’s early childhood teacher, will support this child in your classroom and this child’s family. Your work must be supported by research from at least 5 different sources, one of which must be from the Rasmussen Library. Include both in-text citations and a References page in APA format. For more information on APA, please visit the Online Library, which is available through the Resources tab.
The Power Point is an illustration of your paper, presenting your content for an audience. Your Power Point should have 7-10 slides. Please construct your PowerPoint with a notes section which details what you would say if you were presenting orally and the research behind your slides. Include citations on your slides in APA format which correspond to your references on the References page on your paper.
